The kids are placed into different language arts classes.
Mrs. Cline, Mrs. Loeffler, and Mr. Gill are all responsible for teaching a group of students. The skills may be taught
differently at times but will be consistent throughout the three classrooms. It should also be noted that a few
kids do see Mr. Smith for language arts at this time. Language arts is 90 to 120 minutes each day.
The kids are placed with Mrs. Cline, Mrs. Loeffler, and Mr. Gill for math each day. (A few
students have Mr. Smith for math.) Math is taught using the textbooks, homework books, manipulatives, and different kinds
of math games in each of the rooms. Math is 60 or 90 minutes long each day.
The kids
will have social studies with their homeroom teacher. Social studies can range anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes each day.
The
kids will have science with their homeroom teacher. Science can range from 30 to 60 minutes each day.
